On the 9th, Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong attended a trial for the'Gukjeong Nongdan' destruction and return.

Seoul High Court Criminal Division 1 (Judge Jung Joon-young, Song Young-seung, Kang Sang-wook) held the first formal trial on this day after the reopening of Vice-Chairman Lee's revocation review.

Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong, who was present at around 1:30 pm, went to the courtroom without answering any questions from the reporters about'how is your heart?'

The trial in this case was suspended for about nine months after the trial on January 17, when a special prosecutor Park Young-soo filed a request to evade the court, and then resumed last month.

Vice-Chairman Lee was charged with bribing a total of 22.9 billion won in return after asking former President Park Geun-hye and Choi Seo-won (previously renamed Choi Soon-sil) to help the succession of Samsung's management rights.

The first trial convicted part of bribery and sentenced him to five years in prison. In the second trial, the number of convictions decreased and two years in prison was sentenced.

The Supreme Court sent the case back to the Seoul Court, acknowledging some of the purchases of horses as bribes.
