A life imprisonment was confirmed for Yu Jeong, who was handed over to trial on charges of killing her ex-husband at a pension in Jeju Island and discarding her body on a passenger ship.
The Supreme Court accepted the court case as it was, saying, "It is fully acknowledged that the body was destroyed and concealed after the crime was carefully planned and killed."
However, he maintained the innocence judgment, saying, "It is impossible to rule out the possibility that he died by being crushed by his father who slept with him."
