Police launch their digital platform -
20 MINUTES / SIPA
The national police have set up a digital platform: “Mon commissariat.fr”.
It makes it possible to guide users online, particularly in times of confinement.
In particular, it is possible to interact directly with the police via a chat and ask questions about travel restrictions or the procedure for lodging a complaint.
Behind the computers: 12 police officers, who respond to messages 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
At the moment, many questions relate to "confinement and the health crisis" but also to other requests linked to security problems, for example "my vehicle was damaged, or, I was burgled, what should I do as a step?
», Explains Commissioner Caroline Mougnaud, head of the service.
Only for non-urgent procedures
On the site, citizens are also redirected to other online police services: online pre-complaint, platform for reporting sexual and gender-based violence or the Pharos platform, responsible for detecting illegal online content, etc.
After a first experiment during containment in March, the platform has recently been expanded, explains Commissioner Mougnaud.
From the beginning of 2021, the platform should operate "24 hours a day", with an increase in the workforce, she specifies.
Since June 29, 17,000 chats have been recorded.
Every day, “a few thousand” requests pass through the site, assures the commissioner.
My commissariat.fr is intended to handle non-urgent procedures, underlines the police, who reminds us that in an emergency you must dial 17 or 112.
