Governor Kim Gyeong-soo, who was indicted for manipulating comments, will have a hearing on the appeal of the Gyeongsangnam-do Governor at 2 pm today (6th) at Seoul High Court.
Governor Kim was charged with conspiring with Kim Dong-won, the so-called ``Dreking,'' to manipulate the comments on the portal site, and to recommend Kim's aide to the post of General Consul General in Sendai, Japan ahead of the 2018 local election.
The first trial court convicted two charges, sentenced them to two years in prison and two years in prison in October, respectively, and arrested Governor Kim in court.
Governor Kim, who disobeyed the ruling, was released on bail last April and has been tried.
