A man in his thirties who was accused of spitting spit on women he saw for the first time on the street for no reason was sentenced to probation from imprisonment.

Judge Kim I-seul, who was the only criminal 11 of the Incheon District Court, announced today (2nd) that A (39), who was accused of assault, was sentenced to one year in prison and three years probation and ordered 80 hours of social service.

Mr. A was accused of spitting on four women in their 20s, including Mr. B (24), on the streets of Bupyeong-gu, Incheon from June last year to May this year.

It was investigated that he followed the victim for no reason and spit on the women's clothes, either spit on his back or spit on his hand.

In September of last year, Mr. A spit on the back of a woman in her twenties in front of a post office in Bupyeong-gu, but was later ruled against the prosecution as the victim said she did not want punishment.

During the trial, Mr. A said, "It was fun and I spit out as a joke."

Judge Kim judged, "The defendant followed the young women he met on the street and repeated vicious and insulting behaviors," and said, "Because all the victims are young women, it is suspected of being a'Do not ask hate crime'."

He then said, "Even though the women suffered a great deal of mental damage, the damage was not repaired," he said. "We considered the appeal of the victims for severe punishment."
