The video of a three-point shot on Saturday, on a basketball court in formal attire, by Barack Obama, who accompanied Joe Biden on the campaign in Michigan, ignited social networks.

Sunday, two days before the US presidential election, the video had been viewed more than ten million times, and made several personalities react, including professional basketball player LeBron James.

In the sequence of a few seconds, initially posted on social media by Olivia Raisner of Joe Biden's campaign team, Barack Obama is about to leave the gymnasium in the small town of Flint when he signals that we throws him a basketball.

He catches it off the field, takes a dribble, gets behind the three-point line and shoots.

The ball crosses the net, while several cries of enthusiasm resound, including that of Joe Biden.

Shoot your shot.

"It's like that for me!"

("That's what I do"), launches the former US president, a smile on his face, as he leaves the gym, in pants, street shoes, and jacket.

"Go vote and bring two other people with you"

Barack Obama reposted the video on his Instagram account, with the message: “Go vote and bring two more people with you.

It's like putting a three-point shot for democracy ”.

Passionate about basketball since childhood, Barack Obama played for his high school team in Hawaii.

He is known to play a friendly game every election day and invited NBA players to the White House for impromptu games when he was president.

In 2018, he explained at a conference in Las Vegas that he was no longer playing for fear of injury.
