<Anchor> It

is the appearance of the sea police rescuers sitting exhausted with mud all over the body on a dark night.

Yesterday (22nd), fishermen were isolated in the already dark tidal flat and complained of hypothermia, but the coast guard put in a helicopter and drowned in the tidal flat to rescue everyone.

This is KBC reporter Lee Dong-geun.

<Reporter> In

pitch-black darkness, rescuers grab a rope and jump off the helicopter.

Under the helicopter, a fishing boat that has become obscured by the tidal flat waits anxiously for rescue.

Coast guards descending to the tidal flats, in turn, pick up the fishermen in rescue equipment and quickly take them up by helicopter.

At around 7:24 yesterday evening, a report was received that a barge at a farm was drifting off the sea near Maehwado Island in Sinan-gun.

As the water drained, the barge that was operating was quickly isolated, and the two fishing boats attempting to tow the barge were also trapped in the tidal flat at a low depth.

After receiving the report, the coast guard dispatched the rescue boat to the site first and deployed large helicopters and special rescue teams to rescue fishermen safely.

[Kim Dae-ho/Mokpo Maritime Police Station: When we arrived at the site, we found 10 isolated fishermen in the dark, and the fishermen complained of hypothermia, and the rescue team quickly rescued them by helicopter.]

At that time, the temperature fell sharply along with strong winds on the sea at the time

There are also many elderly people, so it was an urgent situation.

It wasn't easy to secure visibility because it was at night, but thanks to the sea police rescuers carrying out desperate rescue while covered in mud, we were able to prevent accidents.
