The researcher, Victor Gevers, was able to guess the password within seven tries and found that the president was not using two-step verification.

He had the ability to post messages on Trump's behalf and view private messages, which he did not.

Gevers has reported the leak to the US government and the president is said to have changed his password and turned on two-step verification.

Four years ago, three Dutchmen, including Gevers, also managed to guess Trump's password and penetrate his account.
