A chase ended in the death of a driver, on the night of Friday to Saturday, in the Paris region.

The man, driving a Clio, allegedly ran into the police who were trying to stop him.

The latter opened fire.

It is a chase which ended in a dramatic fashion, on the night from Friday to Saturday, in the Paris region.

According to information collected by Europe 1, a driver was shot dead by police officers on whom he was rushing, after refusing to comply.

It was the night police in Paris who noticed around 2 a.m. the suspicious behavior of the driver of a Clio with three passengers on board.

He was driving at high speed on the Paris ring road, in full curfew.

At Porte Maillot, officials attempted to control the vehicle but the man behind the wheel refused to obey and accelerated towards the A13 motorway.

He rushes at the official who opens fire

A chase then started in the west of Paris to Poissy, in the Yvelines.

There, the car finally came to a stop in a parking lot.

A LAC policeman dismounted to check the driver.

He then suddenly restarted and rushed towards the police officer who opened fire.

The driver was shot and succumbed to his injuries.

This is a 28-year-old man, already known to the police.

Two of his passengers were arrested and taken into custody.

The third occupant of the car managed to escape.

A judicial inquiry has been opened into the circumstances of this case.

The IGPN was also seized.
