At the end of Calle Alcalá, in the San Blas-Canillejas district, this quiet park of 25 hectares of large areas of trees and cultivated areas is located, whose

origin is a rustic-urban recreational estate of about 100 years ago


In it there is a restored mansion from the beginning of the 20th century, with gardens, flowers and a lawn, a pond with a fountain in the middle, an old mill, another building known as the Casa del Reloj and the Quinta de los Molinos Open Space , a cultural center for children, youth and families with a wide program.

A paved path, bordered by large plane trees, crosses the enclosure almost from south to north, from the main entrance, on Calle Alcalá.

In addition to bananas there are almond, olive, holm oak, pine, eucalyptus and fig trees.

This park is a must, especially in February and March, when its almond trees bloom.

This charming, centenary and peaceful park with sloping green meadows that invite you to lie down covers an area of ​​close to 100 hectares.

The oldest part of this important green space in the capital, located in the Moncloa district bordering the Arco de la Victoria and the La Coruña road, has a more landscaped character.

An artificial estuary of about 600 m in length runs through it and has a great variety of plant species, such as the unique population of conifers or special specimens such as the "el Abuelo" cedar, as well as statues and gardens.
