After delivering a OnePlus 8 at the start of the year, then a more affordable OnePlus Nord mid-year, the Chinese manufacturer OnePlus returns with the OnePlus 8T.

Faithful to its habits, the brand is content with a few slight alterations in the technical sheet, with a Snapdragon 865 5G processor under the hood, and some improvements in the photo sensor as well, since the OnePlus 8T will be equipped with four sensors: a main sensor with optical stabilization of 48 megapixels, an ultra wide angle of 16 megapixels, a sensor intended for macro and one dedicated to monochrome.

OnePlus has focused its efforts on several aspects: the screen, fast charging and design.

On the screen side, we go to 120 Hz, an ideal display for gaming.

OnePlus also improves its brightness (1100 nits) while making the colors more pleasant to watch.

Fast charging should be faster thanks to the 65W charger supplied with the smartphone, which would offer a full day of autonomy in 15 minutes of top-notch charging.

Fully charging the smartphone would only take 39 minutes.

“The OnePlus 8T is equipped with 12 temperature sensors and an additional encryption chip in the adapter and cable, in order to keep the charging temperature at a comfortable level while operating at a maximum power of 65W”, explains the manufacturer.

The battery will display a capacity of 4500mAh.

A new format

On the design side, the format is also evolving, with a design that departs from that of the old model to approach that of Huawei smartphones in particular.

The OnePlus 8T is available in two new colors: Aquamarine Green and Lunar Silver.

The Aquamarine Green version takes advantage of diffuse reflection, a form of light refraction that scatters light over a wide range of angles and directions, and provides a clean, shiny surface that leaves much less fingerprints on it. the shiny glass back, also specifies OnePlus.

The new Lunar Silver variant combines the latest version of OnePlus premium matte glass with a calming gray tone, to find the perfect balance between aesthetic elegance and unmatched comfort.
