The court distributes raffle rights for the first trial over the alleged illegal succession of Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong.
The Seoul Central District Court announced that on the afternoon of the 21st, at the Cheongshim Hall on the first floor of the government building, a lottery ticket for the first hearing in preparation for the case of Vice Chairman Lee will be held.
The court explained, "In order to provide equal opportunities for the public to listen to cases of high social interest, we decided to draw a lottery after receiving applications from applicants in advance."
Those who wish to attend must bring their own ID to participate in the application.
Applications are accepted from 2 to 3 pm and the lottery starts at 3:10.
Audience tickets will be distributed only to the winners outside the West Building entrance from 1:30 pm on the 22nd when the trial is held.
