On the morning of the 12th, Jang, 27, who worked as a daily worker at the Coupang Distribution Center in Chilgok, Gyeongbuk, died at home after work.

It is reported that Jang has been working in the Coupang Logistics Center since June last year from 7 pm to 4 am the next day at night, and has been supporting parcel packages.

The bereaved family and the courier service overworked countermeasure committee raised the possibility of overwork, saying that Jang did not have a chronic illness and did not drink or smoke.

They held a press conference in front of the Daegu Employment and Labor Office today (16th), and admitted that Jang's work was excessive, admitted to an industrial accident, and insisted that Coupang should take responsibility for the overwork.

In addition, it was monitored to prevent employees from working more than 52 hours per week, and he explained that the average working hours per week for the deceased in the last three months was 43 hours.
