In the course of an epidemiological investigation after suffering Corona 19 in May, an instructor at Incheon academy, who caused a serial infection by tricking his job and movement, appealed against the ruling of the first trial.

According to the Incheon District Law, a 25-year-old academy instructor, who was sentenced to six months in prison in the first trial after being convicted of violating the Infectious Disease Prevention and Management Act, filed an appeal to the court yesterday (15th).

Earlier, the prosecution first appealed that the sentence of the first trial was unfair.

At a decision hearing held last month, the prosecution asked Mr. A for two years in prison, the highest sentence in the court under related laws.

The Act on the Prevention and Management of Infectious Diseases stipulates that if a false statement is made in an epidemiological investigation, a sentence of up to two years in prison or a fine of up to 20 million won.

Judge Kim Yong-hwan, the 7th criminal justice of the Incheon District Court, sentenced Mr. A to six months in jail at a sentence of the last 8 days.

Judge Kim said, "In three epidemiological investigations, I made more than 20 false statements about occupation and movement, or omitted or concealed the facts." "Corona 19 has spread to about 60 people," he explained.

Judge Kim continued, "The crime of the defendant caused a significant social and economic loss, and the fear and fear experienced by members of the community were unspeakable." "After the crime, the defendant denied some of the crime in an investigation “We considered the bad situation,” he revealed the reason for the sentence.

Mr. A was convicted of corona 19 in May and was convicted of cheating on his job during the initial epidemiological investigation and not knowingly revealing some of the movements.

He hid his identity as an academy instructor and lied that he was "unemployed," and did not tell the quarantine authorities that he had lectured at a tutoring academy in Michuhol-gu, Incheon before being confirmed.

A, who was tested positive on May 9, visited Itaewon and Pocha in Seoul on the 2nd of the same month, and the next day, it was revealed that he drank alcoholic beverages with a confirmed corona19 in Gwanak-gu, Seoul.

The transmission that started with Mr. A has even led to cases of '7th infection', and there were more than 60 confirmed cases.
