Nearly five weeks after her disappearance, Nora Abdelmalek was found dead on Tuesday near Saint-Nazaire station.

A hunt was organized to find this 38-year-old woman and a Facebook page run by her family had been created.

A 38-year-old woman whose husband and 11-month-old twins had not heard from for nearly five weeks was found dead Tuesday near the Saint-Nazaire station, AFP learned Thursday from the prosecution.

"The family identified the objects discovered with the body found near the station as belonging to Nora Abdelmalek," said Michèle Pierson, deputy prosecutor of the Saint-Nazaire judicial court.

On October 1, the prosecution opened a judicial investigation for a disturbing disappearance concerning this young woman from Franconville (Val-d'Oise) who had settled in Saint-Nazaire during the summer.

She was staying with her husband with his uncle.

The two men had "declared his disappearance to the police station on September 11, indicating that they had not seen him since September 10 early," according to Michèle Pierson.

"Someone who didn't go out"

The investigators had little information to conduct the research because "it seems that it is not someone who has moved a lot in Saint-Nazaire, who did not go out," she said.

A "beaten" was also organized, without success, on October 4 by relatives via the Facebook page "research Nora Abdelmalek"

Thursday afternoon, a message indicated on this page: it is "well my sister's clothes and her phone on the body found in Saint-Nazaire after identification. My sister is no longer of this world. The investigation follows its course and the exact circumstances of the death will emerge after a judicial investigation ".
