Rep. Kim Hong-geol, the third son of former President Kim Dae-jung, who was expelled from the Democratic Party after reporting the reduction of his property was handed over to trial.



Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office Part 2 of the Public Investigation Department unequivocally prosecuted Rep. Kim late at night on the 14th, on charges of promulgating false facts under the Public Office Election Act.



Rep. Kim is accused of omission of a 1 billion won shopping district in his wife's name and a deposit for renting a shopping mall and apartment in his wife's name in the disclosure of property before the last 4·15 general election.



Rep. Kim was expelled from the Democratic Party along with this fact, and on the 10th, he attended the prosecution as a suspect and was investigated for about 11 hours.



Rep. Kim was investigated by the Prosecutors' Office in 2008, 12 years after being investigated by the Supreme Prosecutors' Office's Central Investigation Department in relation to the Daewoo Group life-saving lobby suspicion.



The prosecution summoned Congressman Kim as a reference in the process of investigating former President Kim's aides to confirm the suspicion that Daewoo Kim Woo-jung had lobbied political circles during the Kim Dae-jung administration.



In 2002, Rep. Kim was also imprisoned in 2002 for being involved in'Choi Gyu-seon's Gate', receiving money, and evading gift tax.
