A reconstruction of the kidnapping of Estelle Mouzin began Thursday evening, at the time when the little girl had left school, around 6 pm on January 9, 2003. It takes place in the presence of the killer Michel Fourniret and his accomplice Monique Olivier, brought to Guermantes in Seine-et-Marne.

According to Richard Delgenes, lawyer for Michel Fourniret, the investigating judge who authorized this scenario seeks to provoke a reaction from the serial killer by reuniting him with his ex-companion and accomplice.

Investigating judge and civil parties want to shed light on the unfolding of the facts and know where the little girl died and "from there, find out where he could have transported the body if it is the case and get rid of it. of the body, ”adds the lawyer.

Estelle Mouzin's family has been trying to find her body for 17 years.

The residential area of ​​the small village of Guermantes was completely cordoned off and most of the inhabitants remained locked up in their homes.

Many police officers have moved to secure the route from the school to Estelle Mouzin's house, passing in front of the bakery, the place where she was last seen.
