Today (14th) 10 people, including staff and caregivers, and 42 patients were confirmed at the Haetrak Nursing Hospital in Mandeok-dong, Buk-gu, Busan.



This is the result of examining more than 260 patients and staff after a nursing assistant in her 50s was confirmed yesterday.



The first confirmed person, the nursing assistant, was reported to have risen to 38 degrees on the 8th.



One patient who had already died was also tested positive in the post-mortem examination, and the nursing assistant reportedly stated that he had a fever after contact with the dead patient.



The quarantine authorities quarantined the nursing hospital in the same group and began investigating the route of infection.



Due to the nature of nursing hospitals, there are many elderly patients who have been hospitalized for a long period of time, so there are concerns about further infection.



In Mandeok-dong, Busan, where Haetrak Nursing Hospital is located, dozens of confirmed cases have recently appeared in restaurants and baths, and the quarantine authorities have conducted a full examination of 11 nursing hospitals in Mandeok-dong.



Yesterday, 84 new cases of Corona 19 came out.



The number of domestic outbreaks was 53 and overseas inflows were tentatively counted at 31.



More than half of all confirmed cases, including 23 in Seoul, 15 in Gyeonggi and 8 in Incheon, are concentrated in the metropolitan area.



Four corona19 patients died, resulting in 438 cumulative deaths.



52 people, minus the first confirmed cases in nursing hospitals, were not included in the number of new cases announced today.
