From today (13th), free vaccinations for influenza (flu) in the winter, when vaccination was stopped due to an accident of'exposure to room temperature' during distribution, will resume at public health centers nationwide.

The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has divided the vaccination program period by age in consideration of the Corona 19 situation.

Starting today, middle and high school students aged 13 to 18 receive the free flu vaccine.

From the next Monday, 70 years of age or older, and from the 26th of the following week, 62 to 69 years old will receive the vaccination.

The period of the national flu vaccination support project was decided until December 31, taking into account the generation and maintenance period of antibodies.

The Agency for Disease Control and Prevention was scheduled to start a flu vaccination business for 13 to 18 years old and pregnant women from the 22nd of last month, but it was confirmed that some of the vaccines were exposed to room temperature and the vaccination was completely stopped a day ago.
