fire engulfed the residential-commercial apartment.

Fireballs fall constantly and hazy smoke is constantly emanating.

Last night, around 11:14 am, a report was received that there was a fire in a residential-commercial apartment on the 33rd floor of Dal-dong, Nam-gu, Ulsan.

The fire took off from the strong winds and quickly spread to most of the 113-metre-high building.

[Park Jong-guk/Residents near the fire site: The fire just burned up here.

Because the wind was blowing hard (the fire) just went up.] The

exterior wall panels of the building were also pointed out as the cause of the rapid spread of flames.

[Rental Housing/Ulsan Fire Department Headquarters for Life Safety: The exterior material was confirmed as an aluminum composite panel.

It is estimated that the adhesive between the panel and the panel is a flammable adhesive.] The

fire department issued a second phase of response that mobilized all of the nearby fire fighting equipment and personnel, and began to extinguish

it.

Until now, it has not been exhausted.

The fire caused 91 residents to drink smoke or suffer minor abrasions and were taken to the hospital.

In addition, more than 70 residents who were evacuated on the roof of the building and on the evacuation floor in the middle of the building were rescued safely.

The fire department checks each household individually to see if there were any dead, but fortunately, no fatalities were found.

The fire department is planning to investigate the exact cause of the fire based on a report of smoke coming from the outdoor unit of the air conditioner on the 12th floor.
