Singer and producer Cho PD (44 years old), who was accused of inflating investments in idol groups and accused of fraud, has been put on probation.
In the first part of the Supreme Court, in an appeal against Cho, who was accused of fraud and attempted fraud, the court sentenced two years in prison and three years probation.
In July 2015, Cho handed over the assets of Stardom, an entertainment company, and the contract rights for the celebrities he had run, to Company A, an entertainment company.
In the process, Mr. Cho was handed over to trial on charges of collecting all 1.2 billion won from Company A, hiding the fact that he recovered 270 million won out of the 1.2 billion won investment in the idol group.
