Today (9th) around 4:38 am, an earthquake of magnitude 2.1 occurred 13km southwest of Gyeongju, Gyeongbuk.



The epicenter is 35.75 degrees north latitude and 129.17 degrees east longitude, and the earthquake is 15 km deep, the Meteorological Agency said.



The maximum instrument intensity of this earthquake is 3 in Gyeongbuk and 2 in Gyeongnam and Ulsan.



Instrument intensity 3 is a level that is noticeably felt by people indoors or on the upper floors of a building, and a stationary car is slightly shaken, and 2 is the level that only a few people are in a quiet state or upstairs of a building.



The Meteorological Agency said, "Because the area near the earthquake can feel the vibrations caused by the earthquake, please be careful."
