The number of confirmed cases by region was 16 in Seoul, 14 in Gyeonggi and 5 in Incheon, 35 in the metropolitan area alone.



In the non-metropolitan area, Busan was the largest with 5, followed by 3 in Gyeongbuk, 2 in Daejeon, and 1 in each of Ulsan and Chungbuk.



The number of deaths increased by one yesterday, so far 421 people have died while undergoing treatment.



The number of gastric and severe patients decreased by 2 to 105.



The quarantine authorities are concerned about'quiet propagation' as there were large-scale movements of returnees, returnees and travelers during the Chuseok holiday.
