As the Chuseok holiday continues, more than 200,000 tourists have visited Jeju.



According to the Jeju Island Tourism Association today (2nd), the number of visitors to Jeju for 6 days from the 26th of last month when the Chuseok holiday started to yesterday (1st), the day of Chuseok, was calculated as 202,000.



It means that an average of 33,000 tourists a day visited Jeju for the Chuseok holiday.



The domestic flight reservation rate was close to 80%.



The Provincial Tourism Association estimates that a total of 300,000 tourists will visit Jeju during the Chuseok Golden Week, which runs through the 4th.



Today, Jeju International Airport was crowded with tourists who visited Jeju, as well as returnees and tourists leaving Jeju early after the Chuseok holiday.



Major tourist attractions such as Yongduam, Jungmun Tourist Complex, Hallasan, and the beach were crowded with tourists and local residents.



Most of them wore masks, but there were also tourists who sometimes didn't wear the mask down to their chin.



Meanwhile, no corona 19 confirmed cases occurred until yesterday (1st).



Jeju Island has conducted a total of 403 corona19 diagnostic tests over the past six days and said that all of them were negative.
