Gyeonggi Gyeonggi Province Governor Lee Jae-myeong, who was handed over to the trial on suspicion of promulgating false facts in relation to the case of forced hospitalization for his brother, was found not guilty by the Supreme Court, and Gyeonggi Gyeonggi Province Governor Lee Jae-myung, who was convicted of innocence in the Supreme Court, attended the first trial on the 21st.

The governor, who appeared at the Suwon High Court at around 2:50 this afternoon, said, "I am sorry for causing concern to the people," and said, "But I am sorry for the encouragement and support." Replied.

He also added, "There are still a lot of procedures left, so I will faithfully go to the trial until the end."

It did not answer questions related to local currency, which had been controversial with opposition recently.

Previously, Governor Lee was charged with instructing the head of a health center and a psychiatrist to be admitted to a psychiatric hospital when he was in office in Seongnam in 2012, and that he never tried to force his brother to be admitted at a TV debate held ahead of the 2018 local election. Was charged with making false remarks.

All of the first trials were found not guilty, but the second trial pleaded guilty to the alleged public disclosure of false facts and sentenced them to a fine of 3 million won, equivalent to invalidation of the election.

However, in an appeal in July, the Supreme Court broke the court case and returned the case with innocence, saying that Governor Lee's remarks at the debate corresponded to clarification of the other candidate's suspicion.
