Vincent van der Voort has reached the second round of the World Series of Darts Finals with ease on Friday-evening.

The 44-year-old Purmerender did not give the Englishman Joe Cullen any leg: 6-0.

Van der Voort met little opposition from Cullen, who didn't get a chance on the doubles.

'The Dutch Destroyer' reached an average of 95.94 per three arrows, compared to 83.73 for his opponent.

The World Series of Darts Finals started on Friday and will last until Sunday.

The tournament is normally the final part of a competition series organized by the PDC.

However, those five tournaments were all canceled due to the corona crisis.

Last year, the World Series of Darts Finals was organized for the first time in Amsterdam.

Then Michael van Gerwen took the title by deciding the Dutch meeting with Danny Noppert in his favor in the final.
