Hyundai unveiled the new Tucson on Wednesday.

The new SUV stands out for its appearance, with the headlamps incorporated into the grille, creating a visual unity.

The sharp folds on the sides and the light bar on the back are also eye-catching.

The new Tucson will arrive in the Netherlands in January.

The Tucson stands on a brand new platform and measures 4.50 meters in length.

The SUV is 1.87 meters wide and 1.65 meters high, while the wheelbase has increased to 2.68 meters.

This gives the rear passengers a little more legroom.

The rear has room for 620 liters of luggage.

The models with mild hybrid technology have space for 577 liters of luggage, while the version with hybrid powertrain can carry 616 liters.

The Tucson with that motorization is good for a system power of 230 hp.

The mild-hybrid petrol engine delivers 150 hp, making it the least powerful.

Hyundai is also supplying the new Tucson with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, producing 265 horsepower.

The latter version is not immediately available in January, but will be a little later.

Just like the sporty N-Line versions.

The prices of the new Hyundai Tucson will be announced in the run-up to the market launch.

The interior of the Tucson was also completely overhauled.
