There has been a report that he suffered from side effects after taking medicine prescribed by a famous hospital in Gangnam, Seoul.

Vomiting came up, but I believed it and continued to eat it, and when I checked it, I prescribed a strange medicine that is completely different from the patient's disease.

By the way, the doctor's reaction is more absurd.

For more information, reporter Jeon Yeon-nam.

Mr. A visited a famous hospital in Gangnam, Seoul, specializing in the treatment of spinal joint disease due to severe shoulder pain in July.

I was diagnosed with calcification tendinitis, which has lime in my shoulder joint, and I was prescribed medication and took it twice a day, but I suffered from side effects throughout the ten days of taking the medication.

[Mr. A: When I take the medicine, it's a little bit later, and then it's (sick) weird.

Because I believed in (doctor), I took medicine even though it was so difficult.] When

I looked at another hospital, the prescribed drug was'Acyclovir', an antiviral drug used to treat shingles.

They prescribed the wrong drugs that were not related to the diagnosed disease.

[Mr. A: (doctor) laughed and said sorry... But then, the next thing to say is saying,'Oh, yes, you can make a mistake'... .] The

doctor in charge admitted that he misunderstood when prescribing with a computer and clicked on other drugs incorrectly, but insisted that there are individual differences, but there are no fatal side effects.

These prescription errors amounted to 375 cases in the statistics of the Ministry of Health and Welfare alone in 2017.

This is only the amount of prescription errors made by doctors, and when expanded to drug-related medical accidents including prescription errors last year, more than 3,700 cases were reported.

Of these, 29 patients suffered long-term or permanent side effects or died.

[Dongchan Lee/Medical Law Attorney: Prescription is an important part of treatment, and it may cause important results to patients, so it seems appropriate to strongly ask for responsibility. (The pharmacist is also obligated to teach the medication). A system to filter out the wrong prescription is (necessary.)] The

hospital said, "After knowing about the damage, we apologize to the patient and guide the various damage relief and compensation procedures, and discussion is underway."

On the 4th, the Seocho Police Department sent the doctor to the prosecution on charges of business malpractice.
