“Based on the analysis of the received data, the ISS flight control groups decided not to carry out an evasion maneuver,” the press service said.

It is also clarified that, according to the OKP ASPOS system, which controls near-earth space, the former American military satellite BRICSat-2 does not pose any threat to the International Space Station.

Earlier, Roscosmos reported that an ISS evasion maneuver is planned on September 14 in order to avoid collision with space debris.
