The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 10th that 10 corona19 confirmed cases occurred at Severance Hospital in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul.
According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government, one worker (Seoul patient number 4487) was confirmed for the first time on the 9th, followed by two more (Seoul 4490, 4526) on the 9th, as of 10 am on the 10th. People have been confirmed again.
Of the 10 confirmed cases so far, 1 medical staff, 8 hospital workers, and 1 family member of the confirmed patient.
As a result of testing 127 patients and hospital workers, including contacts, 9 positive and 103 negative were found except for the first confirmed person.
The rest of the test results are yet to come out.
The city of Seoul is conducting an epidemiological investigation and a contact investigation.
Closed-circuit TV (CCTV) is used to identify additional contacts and identify the path of initial infection.
Severance Hospital immediately implemented emergency quarantine and temporarily closed the ward, and plans to conduct full examinations on related medical staff, patients, guardians, and staff.
