From 2:00 pm on the 8th, the Seoul Han River Business Headquarters announced that citizens will be restricted from accessing concentrated areas in major Hangang Parks such as Yeouido, Ttukseom and Banpo.

The zones subject to control by park are ▲ Yeouido Park Event Plaza and Seasonal Plaza ▲ Square around Ttukseom Looper (including the lower part of Cheongdam Bridge) ▲ Banpo Picnic Area 1 and 2.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government said that 28 stores and 7 cafes in Hangang Park were closed every day at 9pm to participate in efforts for citizen safety.

In addition, 43 parking lots in 11 Hangang Parks will not be accessible after 9 PM.

The city will recommend refraining from drinking and eating after 9 pm by strengthening nighttime guidance activities in the park, and it has decided to keep a distance of more than 2m between users and conduct guidance and publicity about wearing masks.

This action will continue until the end of the Seoul City's '10 Million Citizens Stop Week' to prevent the re-proliferation of Corona 19.

The Seoul Han River Business Headquarters explained that "outdoor spaces cannot be free from the risk of corona 19 infection."

The city requested that citizens refrain from meetings in the Han River Park during the “Ten Million Citizens Stop Week”.

In particular, he emphasized that on weekends, he asked to spend time with his family within each family, not Hangang Park.

Shin Yong-mok, head of the Han River Business Division, said, "Please refrain from meetings, drinking, and eating for the time being so that everyone can be safe in the Han River Park, a resting place for ten million citizens." I look forward to your cooperation."
