Damage occurred one after another in Busan and Gyeongnam, where the 10th Typhoon Highsun was hit directly.

Due to a typhoon of 40m/sec accompanied by 50mm of heavy rain per hour, flood damage and landslides followed in various places today (7th).

In Mundong-dong, Geoje-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, a landslide occurred right behind an apartment building, and soil and trees hit vehicles.

With the pouring soil, the trees were powerlessly uprooted and fell.

At Jeonggwan Sandan-ro, Gijang-gun, Busan, a 100-meter section of the road was flooded, causing a difficult vehicle procession to escape the current.

Vehicles stopped in the middle of a road that turned into water and became isolated.

In Gwangan Beach Road in Suyeong-gu, Busan, strong waves crossed the breakwater and overflowed to the promenade. At Jukseong Dream Set in Gijang-gun, Busan, the asphalt was ripped off by rough winds and waves.

Two turbine generators at the Wolseong nuclear power plant in Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do have been stopped.

At 9 am, typhoon warnings went into effect in all regions of the country, and some regions such as Jeju were lifted.

The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters decided to continue to monitor vulnerable facilities until the typhoon escapes, to quickly identify damage and to perform emergency recovery.

Let's watch the typhoon damage situation directly from the informants.
