There are 12 in Daegu, 3 in Gumi, Gyeongsan, and Sangju in Gyeongbuk, 5 in Gyeongnam, and 1 in Chungbuk and Chungnam.
In addition, four additional family members and acquaintances of the confirmed patient were tested positive, and the number of related confirmed cases reached 26.
Authorities believe that a woman in her 60s from Nam-gu, Daegu, who hosted the briefing session, visited the cordyceps in Seoul on the 26th and 27th of last month and was infected by a confirmed person at the Gwanghwamun rally.
A husband in his 70s and a son in his 40s who were confirmed together also attended the presentation.
