The maximum wind speed of the 9th typhoon'Mysak', which passed Korea in the early morning of the 3rd, was 45.0m per second, ranking fourth in history.



According to the Meteorological Administration, Mysak's maximum wind speed (average wind speed for 10 minutes) was 45.0m at the Kosan Observatory, surpassing 43.7m of'Rusa' in 2002, ranking 4th.



The highest wind speed of all time was'Maemi' 51.1m in 2003, the second place was'Chaba' in 2016 49.0m, and the third place was'Prapirun' 47.4m in 2000.



Mysack's maximum instantaneous wind speed was 49.2m per second, ranking 9th.



The maximum instantaneous wind speed of the cicada was 60.0m, which was the fastest, Prapirun 58.3m,'Rusa' 56.7m in 2002, Chaba 56.5m,'Ringling' 54.4m in 2019,'Nari' 52.0m in 2007, and'Bolaben' in 2012. 51.8m, followed by'Ted' 51.0m in 1992.

Due to Mysak, more than 1,000mm of rain was poured into Seogwipo.



From 0 o'clock on the 2nd to 9 a.m. on the 3rd, the precipitation on the southern wall of Hallasan Mountain in Seogwipo, Jeju-do reached 1,37.5㎜.



It rained 62.8mm in Seoul, 195.5mm in Deokjeokdo in Ongjin-gun, Incheon 130.0mm in Songnisan, 326.5mm in Bamsagol in Namwon-si, Jeonbuk, and 265.4mm in Bukchangwon in Gyeongnam.



Around 6:30 am on that day, Myssac drove off the coast of the East Sea.
