Two employees of Hanyang University Hospital have been confirmed with Corona 19.
Hanyang University Hospital said that one employee of the artificial kidney center at this hospital was tested positive for Corona 19 on the 25th of last month, and that an additional employee was confirmed on the 28th of last month.
On the 25th of last month, Hanyang University Hospital announced that it closed the artificial kidney center and completed quarantine immediately after the confirmed employee recognized the physical ailment on the 24th, the previous day, and conducted a preemptive examination of 149 employees and patients with suspected contact.
He also explained that the confirmed employee on the 28th was one of the targets for surveillance.
He added that Hanyang University Hospital is monitoring the staff and patients who were in the hospital during the working hours of the confirmed patient for two weeks.
Yun Ho-joo, head of Hanyang University Hospital, said, "Some media reports that Hanyang University Hospital is in cohort quarantine is a misrepresentation of the facts."
