'Mysak' poured a tremendous amount of water into Jeju.

Buses were isolated by the swollen water, and residents around rivers were evacuated.

This is JIBS reporter Kim Yeon-seon.

<Reporter> The

river next to the road spit out water, and the road has become a huge river.

Buses and cars that entered the road without knowing the situation were trapped on the road.

A strong rain and wind struck, and the entire area was submerged in the water so that it was impossible for vehicles to pass.

As heavy rain nearly 1,000mm poured onto Hallasan Mountain, the Jungsan Road was flooded and vehicle operation was controlled.

The second mountain road, Aejo-ro, Woldaecheon area, and Seogwipo National Road Countermeasure Bypass were controlled until midnight.

Suddenly rainwater spilled onto the road, leading to an accident where people were isolated.

14 people were rescued, including a driver who was trapped in a vehicle in the storm.

Most rivers have also exceeded dangerous levels.

In Woldaecheon, Oedo-dong, Jeju-si, the water level has risen to the top of the bridge, and the evacuation order has been issued.

[Police: (Is it controlled because the water level is too high?) Yes. (You are seeing it as a dangerous level right now?) If you look there, it is almost overflowing.]

The mountain stream near the Jeju Dongmun Market also exceeded the dangerous level, so merchants and residents had to watch the typhoon situation amidst anxiety.

Typhoon Mysack No. 9 blasted water bombs of up to 135mm per hour with strong winds.

Flooding of roads, houses, and agricultural land has led to the difficulty of even counting the damage.

Although the typhoon left Jeju, it is expected that a lot of rain will continue until the morning, so the flood damage will increase further.
