The girlfriend of the late Kim Seong-jae, a member of the group'Deuce', filed a lawsuit claiming that he was misrepresented like the suspected murder of Kim because of a remark from a drug analysis expert, but lost in the first trial.

The 14th Division of the Civil Agreement of the Seoul Central District Court (Deputy Judge Kim Byeong-cheol) ruled that the plaintiff lost today (2nd) in a lawsuit for damages filed by Kim's ex-girlfriend A against the drug analysis expert B.

In October of last year, Mr. A filed a lawsuit claiming 1 billion won, saying, "Even though I was convicted in the Supreme Court regarding the death of Mr. Kim, Mr. B said in broadcasting and lectures as if I had murdered Mr. Kim."

The animal anesthetics that were blamed for the death of Mr. Kim should be viewed as a drug, and Mr. B referred to it as a poison in broadcast interviews, and made Mr. A look like a murder suspect.

However, the court did not accept Mr. A's argument, saying, "We have reviewed the facts alleging that the plaintiff is false, but cannot admit it."

The late Seongjae Kim was found dead in a hotel on November 20, 1995 while enjoying popularity as a member of the hip-hop group Deuce and a solo singer.

As a result of the autopsy, several needle marks were found on Kim's body, and the cause of his death was controversial when it was known that the cause of death was due to an animal anesthetic called'Zoletil'.

Mr. A, who is known to have been Kim's lover at the time, was handed over to trial on charges of murder, but his acquittal was confirmed in the Supreme Court.

Afterwards, I tried to broadcast the SBS exploration program'I want to know' twice last year, but it was unexplored.

'I want to know' said that it prepared the broadcast by combining the autopsy report of the deceased, photos and expert interviews for several months, but the court applied for a temporary injunction against broadcasting, saying that if the broadcast goes out, there is a risk of damage to the moral rights and honor of Mr. A. Accepted.
