Police are chasing a man who has molested a woman he has never seen near Sadang Station and fled.



The Seoul Gwanak Police Department announced today (2nd) that it is chasing an unidentified man who recently ran away after touching a woman's body on the street on charges of forced harassment.



According to the police, the man was found to have touched his buttocks while bowing his waist to tie the loose shoelaces around 7 pm on the 30th of last month during heavy rain.



Immediately after the crime, the man fled near Namhyeon 1-gil, Gwanak-gu, and the victim immediately reported to 112.



The police are tracking the suspect based on the CCTV footage of the scene at the time of the incident and the black box footage of a vehicle parked nearby.



Also, thanks to the victim's promptly submitting the clothes she wore to the police, it is known that the National Institute of Scientific Investigation (National Institute of Scientific Investigation) is currently analyzing the DNA of the suspect left on her clothes.



The Gwanak Police Station said, "We are tracking the path the suspect has traveled from the scene of the incident."
