Currently,'Maisak', which has developed as a very strong typhoon, is in the north at 220km south of Okinawa, and a strong wind of 49m per second is hitting the center.

The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that the typhoon will pass through Jeju Island tomorrow night and land on the coast near Busan at the dawn of the day and then escape to the East Sea in the morning.

It is expected to rain 50~300mm across the country, especially in the east.

There are places where it rains over 400mm in Busan, the east coast, and Mt. Halla.

It is expected that strong winds of 50 meters per second and 180 kilometers per hour will hit the coast of Yeongnam and Jeju Island, which are dangerous members.

However, unlike Korea Meteorological Administration, the US and Japan expect typhoons to land on the southern coast of Jeollanam-do.

According to our forecast, a typhoon with a similar route was the second most damage to property in history, and it rained 450mm in Namhae County, South Gyeongsang Province, and recorded a strong wind of 60m per second, the strongest in the history of weather observations in Jeju Island.

If the route was predicted by the US and Japan, it is similar to Rusa, which has suffered the worst damage ever, but it caused a strong wind of 27m per second in the metropolitan area along the route that was biased to the west than the cicada, causing damage to a wider area.

In addition, 870mm of rain was poured into the entire east coast, especially Gangneung, Gangwon-do.

Although there are differences in the expected route between Korea, the United States, and Japan, it is especially important to note that rain and wind blows across the country and that severe damage may occur, especially in Yeongnam and the East Coast.
