On Seonyudo, where Yanghwa Bridge was interrupted, a portion of a street tree fell in the wind and one lane was controlled.

Traffic was resumed only after the fire and police dispatched to clear the debris.

Even in an apartment in Cheongnyangni, the base of a street tree was broken by a strong wind.

In the southern part of Gyeonggi Province, where typhoon Barbie first struck, the building signs were shaken or trees fell on the road, and firefighters were dispatched to take safety measures.

In particular, even after the center of Typhoon Barbie passed through the western region of Gyeonggi, strong winds exceeding 40m per second are still blowing.

At 4:30 a.m. at the present time, even though Typhoon Barbie is passing 30km away from here, the ships stuck in Jeongok Port, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, where I am, are violently shaking from side to side due to the strong wind.

Currently, typhoon warnings are in effect in western Seoul and in Gunpo, Gwangmyeong, Anyang, Paju, Goyang, and Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, and strong winds in the metropolitan area are expected to continue until this morning.

The Meteorological Administration predicted rains ranging from 20mm to 80mm in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province.
