Typhoon Barbie is approaching Jeju Island.

The distance of the typhoon from Jeju Island is currently 320 km, but the radius of the typhoon exceeds 330 km.

Jeju Island has entered the edge of the typhoon.

Strong winds of up to 95 km per hour were observed in Hallasan, 73 km per hour in Sinan, and 72 km in Mudeung Mountain in Gwangju.

Currently, a typhoon warning is in effect in the far seas of Jeju Island and Namhae.

Currently, 3~6m high waves are occurring in the seas of Namhae and Jeju, and very high waves of up to 10m are expected from dawn.

The typhoon is slowly heading north at 16 km/h and the speed of people running.

Around 8 o'clock in the morning, it is expected that Jeju will enter the central vortex of the typhoon and a strong wind of up to 216 km/h will blow.

The Honam area is particularly dangerous in the afternoon, and very strong rain and wind will be concentrated in the metropolitan area and Chungcheong from night to Thursday and early morning.

Currently, the central pressure of typhoon is 950hPa, which is similar to that of typhoon Lingling, which damaged Korea through a similar route last year.

When you watch the video sent by viewers at the time, street trees were picked up, the exterior walls of the building were torn, and the whole church spire fell.

But Barbie is still getting stronger and stronger.

Barbie is expected to develop into a'very strong' typhoon at dawn, and wind speeds near the center will reach 169 km/h.

It is expected that there will be more wind than rain, but I will spray a lot of rain of 100~300mm in Jeju and Honam.

In particular, the coastal lowlands require thorough preparation as flood damage is expected due to high tide hours.
