the strike between majors and full-time doctors, such as interns and residents, has entered the fourth day, medical problems are already occurring in large hospitals in the metropolitan area. As the government and the medical community are not easily finding a compromise, a general strike is scheduled for the medical association from today (26th), including doctors who open the town. If you have a chance to go to the hospital, it would be better to call once and go.

is a pathology department biopsy room in a large hospital in Seoul.

It is a place where tissues of severely ill patients such as cancer patients and refractory kidney disease are examined to determine the surgical schedule and appropriate drugs.

It is a mandatory treatment course for critically ill patients, but only one professor stays there.

All schedules to discuss treatment options for kidney disease, lung cancer, and severe head and neck cancer have also been cancelled.

The hospital says it is impossible to find a doctor who can read hundreds of patient tissues on behalf of a major and full-time doctor.

The birthing room crisis is also immediately triggered.

Professor Roh in his 60s is in charge of the night shift in the delivery room where 4 majors worked 24 hours a day.

Other large hospitals in Seoul are also reducing their surgery by 10% a day, and it is expected that after two weeks, the waiting period for cancer patients will increase from one month to three months on average.

In spite of serious medical problems in the medical field, an internal survey of more than 300 professors at Seoul National University Hospital found that approximately 90% of them supported the strike in their majors.

An official at Seoul National University Hospital has revealed that it is necessary to reduce outpatient treatment from next week in order not to interfere with the current inpatient treatment.
