<Reporter> As of

yesterday's noon, 166 confirmed cases related to Sarangjeil Church were added, increasing to 623 in total.

In particular, infections related to the Gwanghwamun rally held during the Liberation Day last year have also been confirmed as the incubation period has ended.

The quarantine authorities said 53 people were diagnosed in connection with the Gwanghwamun assembly, of which 33 were related to Sarangjeil Church.

Most of all, patients related to the Gwanghwamun assembly are distributed nationwide across nine cities and provinces, and they are concerned that 70% of high-risk groups are in their 60s or older.

In the midst of this, Sarangjeil Church issued a statement to the public through newspaper advertisements and criticized the government's quarantine measures.

Submission of a list of congregation members, diagnostic tests, and forced self-isolation were abusive of authority and unlawful confinement.

While conservative personnel attending the Gwanghwamun assembly, including Cha Myung-jin and Shin Hye-sik, were confirmed one after another, former Gyeonggi-do governor Kim Moon-soo was overwhelmed with controversy with his remarks.

On the 16th, a video of a harsh protest against the police attempting to arrest a party for violating self-isolation guidelines was released at the Yeouido subway station.

The police have investigated 1,500 people so far, arrested 12 people, and sent 873 people to the prosecution for violating the infectious disease prevention method related to Corona 19.
