Google places its pawns in the world of televised sports. The American giant has launched a new feature which makes it possible to know directly, from its search engine, the channel or channels on which a match will be broadcast on television, Presse-Citron reports  .

It will suffice to perform a simple search for a sports event for Google to automatically mention the channel which broadcasts it. The search can be done with keywords or by typing an entire question: "Where to watch the match PSG - Leipzig?" ".

Today we're adding new features to Google Search in the US to help you quickly find live TV content right from your phone — from MLB and NBA games to live TV shows and movies → https://t.co/Pxn0UNkz8H pic.twitter .com / 0nqGPYEPcQ

Shows and movies to watch online

At the same time, another option will allow Internet users who have made a search to know where to follow the sporting event online. In the search results, a “Live” button will display the streaming feeds and channels that are showing the match.

In addition to these new features, Google has decided to improve its search function for shows and films. Starting this week, the search engine will offer users carousels of live content broadcast by various services. All this is currently only available in the United States but will soon be extended to the whole world.
