prosecutors are blaming the court for an embarrassing reason, saying that the sentence should be reduced to the second-generation chaebol accused of illegally taking propofol. He said that he was informed that male chaebol who were not female employees of entertainment establishments could be addicted to Propofol, so he asked for a reduction in his brother.

Reporter Lee Hyun-young reports.

<Reporter> On the

morning of the 18th, Chae Seung-seok, former CEO of Aekyung Development, was held for a decision on the charge of illegal propofol medication.

The prosecution sought a sentence of one year and six months in prison for former CEO Chae.

He pointed out that he committed the same crime again, and that the crime was not good because it was not so often.

However, the prosecution began explaining the reasons to the court, saying that the former CEO Chae needs to be commuted.

I confessed and responded faithfully to the investigation, so it was good so far.

But suddenly, an unexpected explanation popped up.

It is said that the female employees of the entertainment establishments not only enjoyed propofol while performing skin treatments, but also announced that a second-year-old chaebol could become addicted.

It is read that the propofol, which was mainly thought to be suitable by women in entertainment establishments, should be reflected in the sentencing since it gave a warning that even chaebol men could misuse it.

The Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office explained that the intention was to take into account the fact that the former CEO cooperated with the investigation and identified a wide range of drug abuse cases, and that there was no intention to give meaning by separating gender.

It is pointed out that the prosecution should take this opportunity to reflect on whether it is promoting prejudice against women or not.
