Xbox Series X will be available in November - Geeko

The rumor has been running for a while now, it's now official: Microsoft's new console will be released next November. Until now, the Redmond firm had only indicated the end of the year as the launch window for the Xbox Series X. Things are becoming clearer, even if this revelation seems above all to be an attempt by Microsoft to temper the disappointment of fans after announcing Halo Infinite's postponement until 2021. The game should have been the major title of Microsoft's new console.

If the Xbox Series X launch window becomes clear, it is not yet clear on what day exactly the console will be available or when pre-orders will launch. Before that, Microsoft has yet to reveal the price of its next-gen console. Crucial information for fans, but also for Sony. The two companies indeed seem to be engaged in a price war to offer their new console at a lower price than their competitor.

A hundred games at launch

In its statement, the American company recalled some elements concerning its next-gen console, in particular the titles which will be available on the Xbox Series X from its launch. Players will be able to play over 50 games released this year, including Assassin's Creed Valhalla , Dirt 5, and Yakuza 7 . These will be automatically accessible on the new Microsoft console if you bought it on the current Xbox thanks to Smart Delivery (find the complete list here). Obviously, other games will be offered exclusively on the Xbox Series X from its launch, including The Medium and Scorn . In total, the console will be launched with a hundred games.
