Most of the assembly was controlled by the Seoul Metropolitan Government's order to prohibit the assembly on the 15th, but due to the court's decision to suspend execution the previous day, it became possible to hold it in two places, including in front of Dongwha Duty Free Shop in Jongno-gu and Euljiro Entrance District in Jung-gu, and crowds gathered.

A large-scale assembly of 10,000 people was held in downtown Seoul on the 15th of Liberation Day, amid concerns about the re-proliferation of the COVID-19 group infection.
