Despite concerns about the re-proliferation of the corona, large-scale gatherings are scheduled in various places in downtown Seoul today (15th) during Liberation Day. Although the Seoul Metropolitan Government issued an order to ban the assembly, the quarantine authorities are tense as the court has allowed some assembly and that groups that are not allowed will also enforce the assembly.

Sarangjeil Church and conservative groups led by Pastor Kwang-Hoon Jeon decided to hold a rally from 12:00 noon today near Gyeongbokgung Station on Subway Line 3 in Jongno-gu, Seoul to condemn the government and the ruling party, but decided to cancel it a little while ago.

Until yesterday, the situation became serious, with 30 corona19 confirmed cases appearing in connection with Sarangjeil Church in Seoul alone, and it seems that the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the police's tough response policy was comprehensively considered.

Instead, a rally by another conservative group, which the court has approved, is scheduled in front of Dongwha Duty Free, so some participants are likely to move.

The KCTU will hold a workers' conference from 3pm near Anguk Station, one stop away, and 2,000 people will participate.

The Headquarters of the People's Struggle for the 4·15 Deputy Election, led by former lawmaker Min Kyung-wook, plans to march in the direction of Gwanghwamun from Euljiro Station in Jung-gu from 1 pm.

When the Seoul Metropolitan Government issued an order to ban the assembly, organizations filed a request for suspension of execution, but yesterday the court accepted two out of ten cases.

The police plan to block entry to the Gwanghwamun Plaza and other areas where assembly is prohibited and force the assembly to be disbanded.

The city of Seoul plans to provide a thorough on-site collection if the assembly is enforced, and prosecute participants if they violate the quarantine rules.
