Around 1:30 a.m. today, 61-year-old Hong Mo was swept away by the rapids near Seongbukcheon Bridge in Cheonggyecheon, Seongdong-gu, Seoul.


Fortunately, Mr. Hong was rescued by the 119 rescue team, which was dispatched to hold water plants.

It is said that Mr. Hong slipped while walking around the Cheonggyecheon stream to see the swollen water.

Hong, who suffered an abrasion on a limb, was treated at a hospital.

At around 5:57 am today, a driver of 70 trucks in Geumho-ri, Bugang-myeon, Sejong City, was rescued in 40 minutes by a 119 rescue squad, who was reported and dispatched after being isolated in water from heavy rain.
