two hours later, the typhoon passing through the sea on the east side of Jeju will continue to move northeast and land near Tongyeong, South Gyeongsang Province. Tension is also rising along the coast of Jeollanam-do, which is on the path of a typhoon. This time, I will connect to reporter from Gukdong Port in Yeosu.

<Reporter> This is

Yeosu Gukdong Port. I've been here since an hour ago, but the rain is getting thicker by repeating the rain and stopping.

There are over 1,000 ships in the Gukdong Port of Yeosu.

Typhoon Rose is currently heading north at a speed of 40 km/h.

A little later, at 9 am, it will approach the sea 80km southeast of Seogwipo and land on the south coast in the afternoon.

Typhoon warnings were issued in Geomundo and Chodo, Jeollanam-do, and typhoon preliminary warnings were issued in Jeonnam coastal municipalities and Gwangju.

Due to the direct influence of the typhoon rose, a very strong rain of 30 to 50 mm per hour will be poured on the southern coast of Jeollanam-do and near Mount Jirisan.

From today (10th) to tomorrow, precipitation of 50-150mm in Gwangju and Jeonnam, and over 250mm in the vicinity of Mt.

The Meteorological Administration said that strong winds of 35 to 70 km/h would blow in Gwangju and Jeollanam-do, and asked for special attention to facility management.

As the ground has already been weakened by the rain that has already fallen, additional damage such as landslides and the collapse of the tower is a concern.

Local residents of Gwangju and Jeonnam, where 10 people died in recent heavy rains and 3,000 people were displaced, are eagerly hoping that the typhoon will withdraw without further damage.
